Quick and Easy Matcha Latte

This Matcha Latte will give you all of the energy and none of the crash. Bonus: it comes together in a flash!




You will be able to make this matcha latte in 5 minutes. This latte is full of nutrients, antioxidants and optional collagen to support your body, leaving you with stabilized energy.


Matcha can be a great alternative if you are trying to cut back on your caffeine intake, aid your digestion, support your adrenal glands, or work on improving your overall energy and sleep.


Nutrition Profile:

  • Matcha Powder: Matcha is full of antioxidants that can lead to an increased immune system and reduced inflammation in the body. ½ Teaspoon of Matcha contains about 35 mg of caffeine, equivalent to a half a cup of coffee - this will give you all of the energy boost you need without the effects of a crash. Matcha contains l-theanine, which can help boost concentration and decrease anxiety.

  • Collagen: Collagen supplements can lead to greater bone density, increase in skin elasticity and hydration, improves hair and nails, and supports joints and mobility.

  • Oat Milk: A dairy alternative and a source of vitamin B. Oat milk is packed with calcium and vitamin D, both essential for healthy and strong bones. Be mindful when choosing an oat milk or any non-dairy milk that you read the ingredient label to avoid fillers that may create inflammation in the body.

  • Raw Honey: Raw Honey contains many micronutrients such as calcium, magnesium and manganese. As well as antifungal and antibacterial properties. It is rich with polyphenols that have anti-inflammatory effects as well as antifungal and antibacterial properties. A local source of honey not only supports your local farmers, but it can also help with seasonal allergies!


Matcha Latte

{Dairy Free, Refined Sugar Free}

Serves 1


Ingredients:

2 oz of Water

3 oz of Oat Milk (or favorite milk alternative)

3 oz of French Vanilla Nut Pods

1 ½ tsp of Matcha

1 scoop of Collagen (Optional)

¼ tsp of Raw Honey (Optional)



Instructions:

  1. Heat your water and milk together. Be careful not to burn the milk when heating.

  2. Pour warmed water and milk into a blender.

  3. Add the remaining ingredients to the blender. Blend until fully mixed and frothy.

  4. Enjoy!
